Chardonnay was said to grow around the walls of the city of Jerusalem, whose gate led to the temple of God.<\/p>\n

The Crusaders, returning from the Middle East, brought this wine with them. In Hebrew it was called Shahar Adonay, which means “Gate of God.”<\/p>\n

SHAHAR is a wine distinguished by its straw yellow with greenish hues. It has an elegant fragrance with notes of broom and lime followed by hints of lily of the valley. We also find notes of tropical fruit with a final scent of almond paste.<\/p>\n
