Era

ERA is a 100% Primitivo wine, aged 9 months in new VICARD and RADOUX French barriques. The name ERA is a Greek name, Hera the wife of Zeus, the queen of Olympus. We chose this name because the Primitivo grape is the queen of Apulian grapes. The nose first shows the typical bloody notes of Primitivo. Next we find the clear notes of cherry, plum. A light spicy note that preludes to vanilla undertones. Full-bodied, rich wine with soft, elegant tannins. The perfect pairing, in our pugliese cuisine, is with the typical homemade pasta orecchiette with turnip tops. It also goes well with aged cheeses, or grilled meat.
