Versus

VERSUS is a wine made from 100% Negroamaro grapes, aged 15 months in VICARD and RADOUX French barriques. The name VERSUS represents being against the trend of producing high-sugar wines. The VERSUS label is made with microencapsulated thermochromic inks. These special inks change their hues in response to temperature fluctuations, and in our specific case were calibrated to turn on once the correct VERSUS service temperature was reached. The lighthouse depicted on the label will therefore see its beam turn on when the temperature has reached 16°-18° C. The thermal chrome label allows you to verify the correctness of the serving temperature just by looking at the label. Generally, red wines suffer in the summer season from high temperatures, but thanks to this solution, it is possible for everyone to establish the ideal serving temperature, even in the middle of summer.
